Each Code N Bots program has the same objective: Having fun while acquiring coding, robotics, and teamwork skills. You decide which path is best for you: a weekly class that masters coding and robotics at a measured pace or a competition team that tests your coding and robotics prowess at events sponsored by First Lego League.
In all Code N Bots programs, computers are tools, not coaches.
All instruction comes from a highly qualified instructor and collaboration with teammates.
The Code N Bots Free Class includes a short tour of Code N Bots and a one hour introductory robotics class. Please contact Melissa Madsen at 801-386-7743 to schedule a free class or fill out the form below.
Students learn robotics skills such as gear ratios, torque, gear boxes, linkages, and electric and mechanical systems. Students also practice measuring, recording data, writing, and math. They learn the engineering design process and complete design challenges monthly as part of a team. Students will be introduced to LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robotics systems. This class will prepare young engineers for our robotics and coding class and teams.
Monthly tuition is $99.00 First and last month's payment reserves your seat in the class. To discontinue classes before the final week, please give notice before the next payment cycle begins. Contact Melissa Madsen directly at (801)386-7739 if you have any questions.

AGES 7 - 14 Robotics I
AGES *12-16 Robotics II
The Robotics and Coding I class offers the same teamwork-oriented learning experience as the competition team but at a more measured pace. Meeting once weekly, the class teaches coding and robotics skills such as loops, switches, autonomous control, turns, sensor use, gear ratios, torque, simple machines, and linkages.
Robotics and Coding II is a faster paced class than Robotics and Coding I for older students or those who have mastered Robotics and Coding I*. This class masters the skills taught in Coding and Robotics I with emphasis on understanding the mathematics of more advanced coding techniques; such a proportional gyro controlled driving, proportional line following programs, and advanced use of variables.
Monthly tuition is $99. First and last month's payment reserves your seat in the class. To discontinue classes before the final week, please give notice before the next payment cycle begins.
2024 - 2025 Dates, Schedule, and Registration Coming Soon
In Design for 3D Printing students will design and build projects using 3D printing best practices and the parametric Computer Aided Design Software (CAD) OnShape. Projects start small, dice, key chain, and expand to larger projects incorporating electronics and motors.
Monthly tuition is $99. First and last month's payment reserves your seat in the class. To discontinue classes before the final week, please give notice before the next payment cycle begins.
